Mother Katerina, a housewife of that old era when everything was pure, is the quality assurance of the original recipes at the hotel. Many of our guests stress that one of the main beauties of the hotel is the homemade food. Guests say that the vegetable garden and the Cretan cuisine is too good to be true but the food is homemade, pure and fresh from local farmers and fishermen
DINING AT THE HOTEL
Breakfast is a continental buffet which includes coffee, a selection of teas, milk, orange juice, ham, cheese, tomatoes, olives, fresh fruits, boiled eggs, muesli, cornflakes, cake, yogurt, honey, fresh bread, whole grain toast, rolls and a selection of jams. Food can be prepared at any time of the day from an a'la carte menu and prepared for you on the spot. There is no dinner on Sunday. Each guest receives a complimentary bottle of olive oil and jar of olives from the family's grove.
Early breakfast and packed lunches can be requested ahead of time if you are planning a day out and about.
CIRCULAR HOTEL BAR
This area is popular with the guest and locals throughout the day and evening and is very lively after dinner. As well as a wide range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, the bar also serves food. Sip a pre-dinner ouzo at the bar accompanied by other guests. Be prepared to mix with the family and friends that come to the bar for one drink "or two" in the evenings or to sample the freshly made pizzas.
